Creamy Balsamic Vinagrette
Posted: Jan 12, 2008
Recently, my husband and I spent an evening with some good friends of ours. I always look forward to an excellent meal at this particular friend’s house as she is from France and has a flair for cooking.
On this particular evening Celine served a classic French vinaigrette that I have since whipped up myself.
Creamy Balsamic Vinaigrettes
- Grey Poupon Mustard – 1 Tbs.
- Balsamic Vinegar – 2 Tbs.
- Canola or olive oil – 4-6 Tbs.
- Salt
- Pepper
Whisk together or shake in a little jar. Toss with your favorite salad or steamed veggies (green beans, broccoli, etc.). Serves 2-4 servings of salad.
This is not an exact measurement type of recipe. Add a little here and a little there until you get the taste and consistency that you like. The more mustard, the more creamy. Enjoy!
