This is a question that a lot of us ask ourselves along with, “Are we being taken advantage of?” and the answer is a resounding “YES.” How exactly have we been talked into the idea that we pay more, get less and we are extra special happy about it, patting ourselves on the back for making a “healthy choice?” On the outside it looks pretty silly.

Laundry soap can definitely be hazardous to not only your skin but your health. A major concern with laundry soap is that the chemicals that are used in the washing machine are then going down the drain and ending up polluting our oceans, lakes, streams, etc. and are killing off fish and causing all sorts of problems.

Winter Greens Caesar Salad (vegan)

This delicious recipe comes from my local co-op, PCC, here in Western Washington. It is a hearty salad that is really filling, and surprisingly easy to prepare. Even my husband, who has only met the likes of kale as a rubbery garnish on the side of his plate, thoroughly enjoys this salad.
